Global Payments Europe can provide all-color printing. Complete card design together with personalization of personal data about the card holder is processed in one operation. The following items may be placed on plastic cards:

• Data - numeric or characters
• Graphic symbols i.e. logos, pictures, identifiers
• Photographs
• Bar codes

• Embossing and topping
• Indent printing (front and rear)
• Thermal graphic printing (text, bar code, logos, mono or full color print, front and rear, object rotation)
• Retransfer (full-area printing) - cards with individual design
• Laser engraving
• Chip initiation and encoding, EMV standards
• Magnetic stripe encoding
• Additional lamination - printing protection of cards

• Carrier personalization - up to 5 addressed pages
• Affixing cards to carrier forms and its control

At implementation the necessary steps are as follows:

• Customer develops design of cards and orders the supply at plastic manufacturer.
• Global Payments Europe is not a plastic manufacturer but we may assist our customers also at this phase (useful for non-banking institutions)
• For banks and other financial institutions there is a list of certified plastic manufacturers available at card associations. Plastic card samples are tested; financial institutions will have their cards certified at associations
• The samples of manufactures are tested and financial institution must pay for the certification of payments card at associations

• Scope of card personalization is agreed, magnetic stripe/chip encoding, print lines, color or black and white, photo, retransfer, bar code, etc.

• Personalized cards may be sorted, packed, and distributed either by post (Czech Republic Mail only) or customer's preferred delivery service.

• Due to security reasons and sensitive data information, this is agreed between Global Payments Europe and the customer
• Should the customer also use the CMS back-office service, the data interchange is executed internally within Global Payments Europe's systems
• Secure data transfer via Direct Connect or SFTP is preferred

As operations begin, the whole production cycle is tested on real plastic cards. For banking applications, certification with card associations may be required at this stage.

After successful testing, the card issuance requests from customers are processed under agreed terms.
