How it works?
- At implementation, the acquirer and Global Payments Europe conduct a feasibility study, which will summarize required ATM functionality, existing device models, communication options, and future network developments. Based on these results, a communication method and means is designed, installed, and tested. A migration plan is developed and executed. Licensing issues are administered; possible back-office processing is parameterized. Technical support is contracted, either with Global Payments Europe or third party. Furthermore, malfunction alerts communication is set-up between Global Payments Europe and the technical support provider.
- If needed, ATM software is updated for communication with Global Payments Europe authorization system and for required functions.
- At operation, Global Payments Europe processes authorization requests and captures the transaction data. Based on processing set-up the data are settled in Global Payments Europe's CMS back-office system or transferred to the acquirer. Advanced transaction types are handled as agreed with third parties e.g. mobile operators or marketing partners.
