Transactions defined as ‘domestic’ (i.e. your business is located in the same country as your customer) will typically incur a much lower Interchange (which accounts for approximately 90% of your local transaction costs). In order for your business to enjoy this cost saving, you need a processing/acquiring partner with the appropriate local operating licence.
